There are many fun festivals and events to enjoy in Edmonton, but do you have a favorite place for summer treats? There are many locally owned ice cream shops in the city offering a dazzling variety of sweet treats. Try out Made by Marcus in the Brewery District, Yelo’d on Whyte Ave or Kind Ice Cream in Highlands. Interested in other sweets? Try THIS LIST from Explore Edmonton for more options.

Please visit the website Indigenous Watchdog at https://www.indigenouswatchdog.org/ and learn more about the work that has been done and what is still needed. As citizens, we play an important, grassroots role in working towards reconciliation, and our governments need our prompting to keep working on this important initiative.
