The Citizens’ Police Academy (CPA) is a wonderful opportunity for individuals with professional or personal interest in community policing to acquire knowledge on police issues, practices and operations in the City of Edmonton. This training is especially helpful for active community members to share their learning and course materials about community policing issues with neighbours, friends and other community stakeholders. Their next course runs Sept 20 – Dec 19, 2023 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:30pm. There is an application process and certain qualifications must be met.
