It’s the end of another school year and the beginning of summer break. Whether or not you have school-aged children in your life, now is a great time to pause and consider people who make a difference in your life in some way. It’s a moment of gratitude for you, and a moment of acknowledgement for the other person. Take time to say thank you. A phone call, a letter, an email, a text … any of these make a HUGE difference to the person receiving it.
Thank you’s are a gift and you make a difference when you send one.

June is National Pride Month. There are many different ways to observe this month, as Grant Hartley writes: “There is pride that is the opposite of humility – vanity or self-idolatry – and that is great vice. But then this is ‘pride’ that is the opposite of shame – magnanimity, or greatness of soul – and that is virtue. Please remember this when you discuss pride month” (see the article HERE). If you have a book, article, website or event to recommend, please email Michelle Schurek to share it with the parish.
