Alberta Culture Days begins today! This month-long celebration launches today (Sept 1) with activities at the Alberta Legislature Grounds from 11:00am-10:00pm. It is the province’s recognition of arts, heritage, diversity and community spirit, hosted by community organizations. It is an opportunity for all of us to discover, experience and celebrate arts and culture in Alberta by attending or hosting local events and activities across the province. On September 7, join in the fun of Harvest of the Past at The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village. Witness threshing demonstrations and other harvest activities in the historical village. Chat with Costumed interpreters to learn about the traditional fall harvest in east central Alberta.
