Edmonton offers many options for physical fitness, whether that’s walking in the river valley, visiting one of the many recreation centres in the city, or accessing professionals and programs. These include STEP Forward (ahs.ca/findhealth/Service.aspx?id=1062412) which provides a functional physical activity program to people with chronic health conditions that limit their ability to move, and the province’s Rehabilitation Advice Line (ahs.ca/findhealth/Service.aspx?id=1080775&serviceAtFacilityID=1126573), a telephone service that provides rehabilitation advice and general health information for Albertans of any age (1-833-379-0563).
