Embrace Rwanda’s tag line is “Cultivating Capacities” which is achieved by working with vulnerable women in the Healthy Mums Program. Here the families are supported by an holistic approach to focus on health and nutrition, early childhood development, trauma counselling, vocational training and economic development. For the past 18 years the governance has been directed from Canada but the team and staff in Rwanda have been trained and empowered to take on a larger leadership role. We are now in a transitional phase whereby we have developed a Board of Directors in Rwanda who will take our vision into the future of the organisation and be fully self-sufficient in Rwanda. Please pray for wisdom for our leaders both in Canada and Rwanda as we follow God’s leading in the upcoming years of transition.
