The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation has passed for 2024, and last week we introduced “Indigenous Cultural Awareness” cards for parishioners to fill in and share. This is one way we can support and encourage one another to continue in our Turtle Island Indigenous learning. As you continue your learning and participation in activities that teach truth and encourage reconciliation, please take a moment to fill out an “Indigenous Cultural Awareness” cards, and hang it on our string board at the back of the church. Let’s encourage one another to continue our pursuit of reconciliation!  Please use the year ahead to learn more or participate in activities centered around First Nations, Inuit and Metis people.
