Good day St. Paul’s, 

It has been a busy winter at St. Paul's! With the Gingerbread Night and Rwanda Fundraising all last week, we can now turn our attention on the Advent and Christmas services at St. Paul's!

SURPRISE!! We are having a potluck on Sunday after the service. This was announced at Sunday's service but was not in the bulletin (as I just found out today). Anyway, please bring a food item to share following the service on Sunday (which is our second Creative Engagement Service of the year).

We are having a church potluck on Sunday following the service. Please bring your favourite main dish, salad, or dessert to share. Even if you are unable to bring food, please plan to bring your appetite!!

Advent and Christmas Services at St. Paul's

  • 4th Sunday of Advent, December 22, 10:00AM: PEACE
  • Christmas Eve, December 24, ONE service at 6:00PM
  • Christmas Day, December 25, 9:00AM

Advent 4 (Lessons and Carols) - Choir Rehearsals

We will be having a choir for Lessons and Carols the 4th Sunday of Advent. If you like to sing, please plan to join us!! Rehearsals are in the Hall on:

  • Saturday, Dec. 14, 10:00-noon
  • Saturday, Dec. 21, 10:00-noon
  • Sunday, Dec. 22, 9:00AM in the Sanctuary (if you are part of Myron’s Advent study, come as soon as you are able)

If you are not able to make all of the rehearsals but want to sing, please talk to RJ and we will work something out. 

Dawn Chorus Choir Concert - Saturday, December 7 at 3:00PM in the Sanctuary
Dawn Chorus Choir, the choir that rehearses at St. Paul's on Monday mornings, is holding a FREE concert on Saturday, December 7 at 3:00PM in the Sanctuary. Following the concert (about 50 minutes in length) will be a reception with all sorts of goodies in the Hall. A handful of our parishioners sing in this choir so please come out and support them as they sing!!

Games Night - Friday, December 13 at 6:00PM in the Hall
Are you ready to play?! Please join us every 2nd Friday of the month for games in the Hall. Come learn a new game, bring your favourite to teach others, or play a classic with new friends! Starting in December, we will also have a Puzzlers Corner for those who want to build puzzles together.

Interested in Confirmation or Baptism?
There will be a service of Confirmation on February 2. If you are interested in Confirmation or Baptism, please speak with Rev. Myron or contact the office.

Christmas Family Photos? - Picture Bulletin Board - Is It Missing You?
There are still a few gaps on the congregational picture board. Some of those gaps are just big enough to fit your Christmas photos!! If you have not already, please send in a copy of your favourite photo to the office (in person or by email to office@stpauls-anglican.ca). Feel free to include pets in your photos. If you do not have a photo but would like to have a photo included, please talk to RJ and he will take your photo to be posted.
