The Rev. Canon Dr. Iain Luke will be serving St Paul's as interim priest until the end of June. Iain is the Principal of the College of Emmanuel & St. Chad, an Anglican theological college in Saskatoon with students across Western Canada. He is on a sabbatical leave from the College to refresh and update his familiarity with congregational life, ministry, and leadership. Iain's background includes ministry as a parish rector in two Saskatchewan towns, as a theology professor at St John's College in Winnipeg, and as Dean of the Diocese of Athabasca in Peace River. Having grown up in Porcupine Plain SK, he is a big fan of Prairie churches, especially the small ones, with their gifts of resilience, discipleship, and shared leadership. He is looking forward to discovering what St Paul's can share from our experience in these areas, as well as offering his support during our transitional time between rectors. Iain is a singer and pianist, an avid reader, and enjoys low-impact outdoor activities like walking, cycling, camping and kayaking. He is married to Victoria (also a priest) and they have two young-adult daughters, Elizabeth & Catherine. The family looks forward to visiting from Sask. as circumstances permit.
