August Missions FocusThis month we are praying for a family who works amongst young adults in a closed Far East nation. We are praying for opportunities for them to share God’s Word. Some additional prayer points include opportunity for the young people to share Christ with their families, political tensions in the region, comfort and provision of Godly local friendships, and the gospel to bear fruit in the families that are touched through their work. May God open the hearts of those who are hearing His Word.

Kokopelli ChoirsWe at Kokopelli Choir Association want to thank you for opening your doors to three of our choirs. Since we arrived in your home just before Covid-19 hit, we haven’t been able to properly introduce ourselves! This fall & winter, Tamariki (ages 5-9), Shumayela (ages 12-16) and ChandraTala (ages 20+) choirs will rehearse here on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings (respectively). In 2019, the Kokopelli Youth Choir represented Canada at the World Choral Expo in Lisbon, Portugal. As a not-for-profit community organization, we rely on several Edmonton churches to house our rehearsals. With your lovely surroundings, warm acoustics, and welcoming spirit, we feel very privileged that you have chosen to share your space with us. If you (or anyone you know) might be a good fit for one of our choirs, we hope you’ll reach out to us at kokopellichoirs.com. No experience required!
