These dinners will provide a warm and nutritious meal to our guests, as we open our doors to those in need of a free meal. There are many possibilities for you to volunteer a few hours of your time. Edmonton’s Hope Mission and Emmanuel Foundation have joined together, to have Emmanuel Foundation as the international arm of Hope Mission as of Jan 1, 2024. Emmanuel Foundation has provided many medical and personal supplies to international locations for many years, as well as providing playgrounds to third world neighbourhoods. Hope Mission provided them space to house their activities after their warehouse burned down in 2021, and the partnership grew from there. For more information about this development, please see the Emmanuel Foundation December Newsletter HERE.
Edmonton’s Deep Freeze Festival runs next weekend, January 20-21, 2024, on 118 Ave between 90-95 St NW. This is a fun winter festival to get out and enjoy time with friends, family and other like-minded Edmontonians. For more information, visit https://www.deepfreezefest.ca/
