If you’re into outdoor winter sports, hiking, stargazing, or snowshoeing, Elk Island National Park has it all. Everything to do with outdoor winter fun is just a 35-minute drive from downtown! There is all-season camping available, and firepits for a good source of warmth if you want to build a fire. There are many ways to discover little-known facts about the park and its wildlife. Astotin Lake is a wonderful destination for skating too!

St Paul’s Anglican Church is located in the Nakota Isga Ward of Edmonton, and our city councillor is Andrew Knack. In his January newsletter, he provides insight to the topics of traffic flow, public engagement, and how they are addressing the housing crisis in Edmonton. To read the newsletter, please visit HERE, or sign up to receive the newsletters at https://andrewknack.ca/links.

St Paul’s Community Dinners are continuing as a pilot project on January 27, February 24 and March 23, 2024. These dinners will provide a warm and nutritious meal to our guests, as we open our doors to those in need of a free meal. There are many possibilities for you to volunteer a few hours of your time. To explore and sign up to volunteer, please visit HERE.  Of 21 volunteers needed, we have 9 so far! For more information, or for volunteer signup assistance, please email Michelle Schurek michelle@stpauls-anglican.ca. Please invite your friends, family and coworkers to help with this event, too.

And, don’t forget! We are looking forward to our CHURCH RETREAT April 5-7, 2024 at Camp Nakamun. Registration opens February 18, 2024.
