This coming Friday, September 30, 2022, is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There are several special events around Edmonton and online that day. One local event is the Orange Shirt Day Runwalk, which you can learn more about at https://www.indigenousrunner.com. Thanksgiving weekend is two weeks away! There are several charities in Edmonton who host Thanksgiving dinner for the people they serve, such as the Bissell Centre, Mustard Seed, and Hope Mission. Please help supports these meals as well as the ongoing service these organizations provide by visiting their websites.  

Do you love to gaze at the stars? Elk Island is hosting Gateway to the Stars every weekend until Oct 22. From the website: "Experience the wonder of Elk Island’s night sky.
