Building a healthy community: Ten ways to support yourself and your community right now:
- Take time to pray
- Eat well and get plenty of rest
- Get outside in sunlight as much as you can (even in the cold, dressed appropriately)
- Check in with friends if they need anything, and ask for help with things you need too.
- Support the local food bank & other community support programs
- Give blood if you are able
- Volunteer your time and expertise
- Support local businesses, schools and childcare centers
- Encourage first responders, health care workers, and other public servants as they seek to support citizens in their day-to-day lives.
