Special Indigenous Fundraiser Next Week - June 16, 2024

Next week on June 16, in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, we invite you to bring gender neutral RECEIVING BLANKETS for the Layettes we provide to Kihew Awasis Wakamik (Indigenous Birth of Alberta) clients. These layettes are created by Laura Rogers and a dedicated group of volunteers who give of their time, energy and resources. The Aunties who deliver these baskets have encouraged us as well, recognizing the layettes as acts of reconciliation. We are asking for receiving blankets as they are difficult to source second hand.
